The LSE Hellenic Conference 2027
Early March 2027, LSE campus, London. Date to be confirmed.
About the Conference
The LSE Hellenic Conference brings together students, academics and senior professionals from across the Greek and Cypriot diaspora. The programme is built around sector panels chaired by students and populated by speakers with senior standing in their fields, alongside keynote addresses and dedicated time for attendees to meet one another and our partners.
The audience is drawn primarily from the LSE, King's College London and other London universities, together with early-career professionals from the wider Hellenic community in the United Kingdom.
It is one of the largest annual gatherings of Greek and Greek Cypriot students and professionals in the United Kingdom, bringing them together with senior figures from diplomacy, politics, academia, finance, law and business. A significant proportion of our attendees and of our organising team are Cypriot students studying in the United Kingdom, and the programme addresses questions directly relevant to Cyprus and Greece, including the career decisions facing young Greeks and Cypriots abroad and whether they return home.

The Conference is convened jointly by the Hellenic and Cypriot Societies of the London School of Economics and of King's College London. It is student-run from end to end, from programming and speaker relations through to sponsorship and production.
What is changing in 2027
A careers-focused finance panel. The finance session moves towards routes into the industry, what firms look for in candidates and how applicants should prepare, rather than market commentary alone.
More time to talk. We are adding further networking breaks between panels, so attendees can speak with the panellists, with each other and with our partners at their booths.
Format
A full day at LSE comprising keynote addresses, sector panels chaired by students, and structured networking breaks. The full programme and panel line-up for 2027 will be published in the coming weeks.
